Guest: Angus Chan

Angus is the founder of The Art of Activating Intelligence. He is an educational consultant, an instructional designer, a curriculum developer, a learning strategist, and a technical advisor. His professional experience includes over a decade in academic and educational roles. He holds a Master of Education in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simon Fraser University (SFU).

Angus works at Emily Carr University and teaches at Alexander College to advance quality education for learning success. Since 2008, he has been teaching, facilitating, and developing academic courses and programs in higher education settings, with a focus on assessment, curriculum development, and skills training. He advocates for diverse communities, collaborative learning practices, and advocating for holistic wellness.

Angus also creates sustainable and inclusive programs that help students achieve their learning, career, and community goals. Angus holds a graduate degree in educational psychology, with certification in TESOL II, FDW, and FDW. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and son to try out different foods in different restaurants from around the world.
